Some pieces end up on your list because of the artist. Others stay with you because of the character. Duke Duke caught my attention immediately. It wasn't just the oversized blue figure or the colour that stood out, but the expression; half annoyed, half exhausted, like it had already heard every excuse in the world.
While the artist remains unknown, Duke Duke is a reminder that not every memorable piece comes with a name attached. The mural's exaggerated features and unmistakable personality transform a simple wall into something impossible to ignore, creating the kind of unexpected encounter that makes exploring a city's street art scene so rewarding.
If you're the artist, or know how to reach them, we'd love to connect. Our goal is to properly credit and celebrate the artists behind the work we discover.
