While exploring Woodstock, Cape Town, this mural caught my attention with a character that was impossible to miss. But the longer I looked, the more the smaller details started to steal the show.
A bright blue cat rides behind him, a small white 4x4 sits below, and “OUPA” appears in a speech bubble above his head. It’s playful, strange, and packed with the kind of unexpected details that make you stop for longer than you planned.
We haven’t been able to identify the artist behind this piece. If you created it, or know who did, we’d love to connect so we can properly credit the work and learn more about its story.
