While searching the streets of Cairo for art, I came across one of the world's most recognizable footballers in a place I wasn't expecting. Cristiano Ronaldo, number 7, painted from behind across a weathered turquoise wall. The peeling paint, exposed wires and marks left by time had become part of the piece itself.
The mural depicts Cristiano Ronaldo in his iconic number 7 jersey. Painted directly onto an aging wall, the simple black-and-white figure stands in sharp contrast to the faded turquoise surface around it. We haven't yet been able to identify or independently verify the artist behind this work, so we'd rather leave that part of its story open than guess.
